Forum Hackenberg of the School Centre in Remscheid-Lennep
Dos Forum (built in 1979/80) is integrated into the Remscheid-Lennep school complex and serves not only as a venue for school events for a secondary school and a middle school, but also as a community centre for various cultural purposes. The room's shape, choice of materials, and acoustic design reflect this multi-purpose use. All parts of the delicate-looking steel structure are painted light green. In contrast, technical installations such as ventilation ducts and light fixtures are finished in dark blue or black. The trapezoidal metal sheets and acoustic reflectors in the ceiling are white, while the floors are dark brown.
