Exhibition Stand of the German Timber Association (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Holz e.V.) at the "Bau 80" Trade Fair in Munich

Design specifications: The exhibition pavilion of the German Timber Industry Association (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Holz) at BAU 80 was intended to present a company-neutral overview of timber as a building material and to highlight the interplay between construction, function, and form in timber construction. Two main themes were presented: "Engineered Timber Construction" and "Construction and Interior Finishing." This resulted in the division of the floor space into two equally sized, separately roofed areas. Within these two themes, architectural models of exemplary timber buildings were to be exhibited. As they belonged to both thematic areas, they were given their own space in the central area, covered by white fabric sails.
