The system is based on the column-and-beam construction principle. The columns typically run continuously. The beams can be connected to the columns in all four directions. Depending on requirements, columns and beams are fitted with grooves for glazing on one, two, three, or four sides. The transoms (beams) engage with a tenon in the grooves and are anchored there. Additional horizontal and vertical subdivisions can be inserted into the load-bearing frame as needed. The transoms or beams can also be arranged at different levels, allowing for the creation of staggered floors. Insulating glass units are inserted directly into the grooves of the load-bearing structure without frames and cemented in place. Each unit is first inserted at an angle into a vertical groove, then pivoted into the glazing plane, then into the opposite vertical groove, and finally into the upper groove.
