Pottery in Wilhelmsdorf
This pottery workshop was built onto a small, older residential building, forming a single property unit. The three-aisled, roofed workshop, divided into the actual pottery production area and the showroom, has a usable floor space of 69 square metres and a total volume of 307 cubic metres. The gable roof design allowed for the required ceiling height of 3 metres to be achieved with a relatively low eaves height. Natural light enters through the glazed gable walls on the front. Additionally, skylights were installed in the northern roof surfaces, providing good illumination deep into the interior. The entrance forecourt lies beneath the gable roof adjoining the old house.
