Special School in Ingerkingen, Biberach District
Integration into the surroundings: The building is situated on the eastern edge of the site and, together with the adjacent dormitory, forms the main plaza. The building's enormous size is broken up by staggering its height up the southern slope and emphasizing the halls. The scale and materials of the facades are adapted to both the new dormitory building and the existing structures in the surrounding area. Concept: To organize the diverse uses as transparently and comprehensively as possible, the concept of a passageway was adopted.
