Indoor Swimming Pool in Freiburg/Hasfach
The Hallenbach Haslach indoor swimming pool, southwest of Freiburg, is situated adjacent to an allotment garden area. The building was positioned at the northwest corner of the property, opening to the south onto an outdoor swimming pool area. A planted earth embankment serves as a noise and visual barrier, shielding the facility from the access roads and parking areas. The individual functional areas of the indoor pool are clearly visible from the outside. A C-shaped, single-nave hall spans the three large pools, arranged in sequence: the variable-depth pool, the swimming pool, and the non-swimming pool.
