The building itself was oriented to minimize sunlight exposure on the outer longitudinal walls. Naturally, the climatic conditions also influenced the design of the exterior walls. All facades were fitted with large, ribbon-like aluminium panels. The height and position of these panels were calculated based on the extreme angles of incidence of the sun.
