Bus Depot in Fürth
The planning focused primarily on consolidating the main functions in separate buildings (halls, workshops, service buildings) to create a clear and manageable layout. All facilities were designed to accommodate 12-metre-long buses, articulated buses, and double-articulated buses. Total capacity: 85 buses. The core of the complex consists of the maintenance, repair, and parking halls. Flexible, freestanding steel wall elements, ranging from 2.50 metres high to floor-to-ceiling, divide the workshop areas. The hall axes run north to south.
