Buildings of the Army Officer School in Hanover
The buildings were erected as part of the reorganization of officer training, in which all army officers participate in special courses. The complex consists of accommodation wings (approx. 50,300 cubic metres of enclosed space) and the canteen and service building (approx. 24,700 cubic metres of enclosed space). To ensure optimal communication and simultaneously shield against traffic noise from the adjacent highway, the accommodation buildings were grouped together and the connecting passageways were enclosed.
