The supporting structure consists of a three-hinged truss frame in the transverse direction. The truss frames, with parallel top and bottom chords, span over 28.00 m. The frame spacing is 6.98 m in the inner bays and 8.11 m in the two end bays. The posts of the truss frames run perpendicular to the chords, and the inclination of the two frame uprights corresponds to the inclination of the posts or diagonals. This results in a favorable force distribution from a structural point of view and significantly simplifies the prefabrication and assembly of the truss frames. All joint connections consist of galvanized steel plates that are slotted into the squared timbers and nailed in place (Borg system construction).
