New Lower Saxony State Library Hanover

The Lower Saxony State Library – one of the most important libraries in Northern Germany and home to the Leibniz estate – which also serves as Hanover's university library, was built near the city centre on a corner plot at the rear of Waterlooplatz. The site is bordered by the rivers Leine and Ihme.
