Residential Complex »Am Dünzlpark« in Landshut

The residential complex is situated in a north-facing hollow, about a 15-minute walk south of Landshut. The hillside location and the unobstructed views to the south (the Gothic Church of the Holy Blood), north (the Isar Valley), and east (Moniberg) dictated the grouping of the buildings. The natural slope was utilized, without major earthworks, by staggering the building volumes in both height and plan. This highly articulated, terraced arrangement of the building blocks allows the complex to integrate seamlessly into its surrounding, otherwise unremarkable, urban landscape.
