Park Restaurant in Hyde Park
This restaurant extension was not intended to appear as a closed, monolithic structure, but rather to blend seamlessly into the park landscape. Therefore, all walls were constructed of glass. The entire structure rests on a hexagonal module. The supporting structures of the lightweight steel framework are concealed within triangular, white, fiberglass-reinforced plastic frame panels, which are punctuated by pyramid-shaped plastic skylights.
