Municipal Centre in Hartlepool/England
The overall project – Hartlepool Town Hall, Durham County Council, and Durham Police Headquarters – is part of an urban development plan for the areas directly north of Victory Square. Together with an existing retail centre, it forms an integrated unit that completes the square on its northern side. The complex comprises several interconnected wings, constructed in four phases: a wing for probation services (phase 1), the Town Hall and City Council offices (phase 2), a courtyard wing connected to the police headquarters (phase 3), and the City Hall with a theatre (phase 4).
