Mönchengladbach-Dünnerfeld School Centre

The design of the Mönchengladbach-Dünnerfeld school centre is based on the results of an architectural competition from 1971. In accordance with the funding regulations of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the building has been constructed in several phases since 1973. The section planned and built to date can be completed in stages, in line with the original program concept, which envisioned a school centre for 2,000 students. The building system, with its technology and flexibility, is well-suited to the long construction period and the uncertain future developments in educational planning.
