This architect-designed home is situated on an east-facing slope on the edge of Lucerne's old town. An old mixed forest borders the house to the north. To the southeast, there are beautiful views of Mount Rigi, Mount Bürgenstock, and Lake Lucerne. The design aimed to preserve the impressive views while simultaneously integrating the wooded area visually into the house. Therefore, the living area was moved to the upper floor and designed with a transparent, tent-like feel. The ground floor contains a small apartment for the three children; the basement houses the utility rooms and the garage.
