Single-family Residential Complex in Ratingen
The approximately 16-hectare site of the Gut Volkordey residential park lies directly on the border between Ratingen and Düsseldorf; it is bordered to the west by a green space and sports field, to the north by a stream, and to the south (behind a planned noise barrier) by the main road leading to the city centre. The exposed location in open fields and the lack of urban planning connections determined the unique open space design of the complex.
