British Consulate General in Hanover
The building was erected on a 1300 m² site slated for demolition, within a continuous row of older facades. It has a volume of 10,600 m³ and approximately 2000 m² of usable floor space. The underground garage beneath the rear courtyard provides 22 parking spaces. The load-bearing steel structure was intended to be clearly visible and exposed on the exterior, defining the building's structure. Therefore, it was positioned in front of the facade in such a way that it could remain unclad.
