The design of the building was influenced by the surrounding townscape with its open, two-storey buildings. A newly constructed access road leads to the large parking lot behind the church. The church is a single-storey building whose floor plan is based on a grid of 19 regular hexagons, each with 6-metre sides and 90 square metres of usable floor space. The main hall comprises 13 such units, while the entrance hall and open vestibule each consist of six. The perimeter walls are 6 metres high around the main hall and 3 metres high around the entrance hall and vestibule (up to the eaves). The hexagonal units are covered with pyramidal roofs with a 30° pitch, and a 60° pitch over the main altar.
