The architect-designed house sits on a steeply sloping (30° incline) 690 m² plot of land overlooking Lake Constance and the old village. The footprint measures 10.50 x 13.38 m, the living area is approximately 146 m², and the volume is 786 m³. On the ground floor, the ancillary rooms are partially underground. The glazed, open-plan living area, comprising the living and dining room, kitchen, and entrance hall, is raised on double columns above the sloping terrain. A wooden staircase leads from the dining area to the garden. A gallery encircles the two-storey living space, to which the bedrooms and bathroom are attached.
