Single-family House with Office
This residential building with an architect's office in Ettlingen was constructed within a small terraced housing development on an attractive hillside directly bordering the forest. Access is via a road on the valley side. The two L-shaped building units, offset from each other in plan and elevation, were already specified in the development plan. The lower, two-storey unit houses the architect's office and a separately accessible apartment. The office is subdivided in such a way that it could easily be converted into a larger apartment if needed. The building unit on the hillside is the architect's own residence.
