Built on a hillside with expansive views near the city, the house, nestled among other detached single-family homes, is constructed on an L-shaped floor plan enclosing an open atrium courtyard. The differentiated spatial arrangement across three levels is reflected in the open layout of the entire building, which is strongly defined by its striking, sloping roofs. The middle level houses the living area and the family's sleeping quarters; the level above contains a gallery over the living room and a guest room; and the lower level contains a bar, the garage, and utility rooms. The appearance of almost all the rooms is defined by the sloping surfaces of the expansive roofs.
