The plot of land, sloping on three sides and situated between two streets and a footpath, offers unobstructed views of the city, the Swabian Alps, and a vineyard. To minimize noise pollution in this exposed location, the entire site was carefully landscaped and planted. Adapted to the hillside and the spatial functions, the house is arranged on different levels (children's area, living area, parents' area), each structured in such a way that all fixtures can be modified (for example, the children's area can be converted into a small apartment or an office). With the exception of the bedrooms and bathrooms, all living areas are open to one another, yet largely undisturbed. Each of the individual zones has its own private outdoor space.
