Savings Bank Training Centre in Rastatt
The central training centre of the Baden Savings Banks and Giro Association is situated on a 51,680 square metre plot of land in the north of Rastatt, adjacent to a residential area. Oriented east and west, the building's north-south axis mirrors the orientation of the surrounding four- to eight-storey residential buildings. The outdoor space was designed to blend seamlessly into the nearby floodplain landscape, with architectural structuring only in the immediate vicinity of the building and at the main entrance. The existing rows of poplar trees were largely preserved and integrated into the design.
