Terraced Housing in Herbede
The following aspects were considered in the planning of this residential complex – the first series in a development of already realized terraced house types: The building complex is designed with minimal exterior footprint, while extending in depth (14 m according to state regulations). A simple shear wall construction system with an optimal column spacing of 5 m (measured by the reinforcing steel mesh) and no load-bearing interior walls was chosen. The relevant regulations regarding room sizes and floor space were taken into account to ensure a favorable floor plan. Partition walls can be added or relocated as desired, resulting in flexibility in room usage.
