Private Swimming Pool Ludwigshafen/Rhine
The swimming pool and living area extend across the entire width of the building; they are separated from the other rooms. Only the studio and the hallway have exterior windows; all other rooms have skylights or artificial light. The building has a basement only beneath the studio and the bathrooms. From here, where the utility lines are also located, there is access to a walkway around the pool. The swimming pool, as the central part of the building, is emphasized by the butterfly-shaped roof design and the glazing that extends all the way up to the eaves. Furthermore, the roof structure cantilevers far beyond the large window walls of the swimming pool. The lounge area adjacent to the pool, however, remains in the lower zone.
