Liessem Residential Complex
The residential area, built for postal and federal officials, is situated in a prominent location on a ridge sloping down to the north and east, approximately 120 metres above the Rhine Valley. It offers unobstructed views of the Rhine and the Siebengebirge hills opposite. This elevated position results in a drier, cooler, and sunnier climate, as well as smog- and haze-free air, unlike in Bonn and Godesberg.
