Administrative Building in Rotterdam
This central administrative building, necessitated by the merger of various companies with branches throughout the Netherlands, is located on Rotterdam's inland port. The surrounding area is characterized by warehouses, cranes, and ships. Given the need for extensive integration of the various departments and the relatively small plot size, the office spaces of the five-and-a-half-storey building are designed as open-plan offices.
