Kindergarten in Kaltenkirchen
The kindergarten, with five group rooms, is located approximately 300 metres from the town centre on the edge of a meadow; it is accessed from the south via a cul-de-sac. The group rooms are arranged around the ancillary and service rooms, which face north; three face south and two face west. This layout (in addition to the core room program) allows for a central entrance hall for theatre, group games, gymnastics, parent-teacher meetings, etc.; this hall can be combined with the adjacent gymnastics room to create one large room using movable walls.
