Single-Family House in Seattle
This house for a family of five is situated on a narrow but very deep, gently sloping plot of land in a desirable residential area of Seattle. The approximately 15 x 43 m site, surrounded by trees, is bordered by two residential streets and older buildings, which presented challenges for the design regarding privacy and the integration of the building into the surrounding architecture. For this reason, a cubically structured building form was chosen, whose clean lines and roof surfaces blend well with the surrounding buildings.
