In Putzbrunn-Waldkolonie (13 km southeast of Munich), 178 terraced apartments were built on a roughly 2-hectare site near the forest, with the aim of creating a "single-family home on one level." The quality of living here is particularly defined by the apartments' orientation to the sun, the differentiated floor plans, and the spacious terraces. The various connections and views to the outdoors create diverse living experiences. Wherever possible, ground-floor apartments were provided with gardens, screened by walls and wooden fences, each featuring a covered seating area. The terraces of the upper-floor apartments are partially covered, creating a generous connection between the apartments and the outdoors.
