Residential Area Centre in Eindhoven
The new residential quarter Herzenbroeken, in the east of Eindhoven, comprises 1,700 apartments for approximately 7,000 residents. It lies between two railway lines and the planned city ring road. From an urban planning perspective, it is significantly accentuated by central green spaces enclosed on three sides by residential buildings, while the northern edge is bordered by a closed building complex primarily housing small industrial enterprises.
