New Trade Fair in Vicenza
The building primarily serves as a venue for the specialized trade fair for goldsmithing and ceramic products. It was constructed based on a competitive bidding process, which included strict cost limits (500 million lire in 1970). During construction, some modifications were made to accommodate the client's requirements and wishes. The aim was to create an unusually compact building that would provide visitors with optimal psychological conditions as they moved through the exhibition halls and rested in the centrally located hall with its raised patios.
