Philosophical College in Munich
The curriculum changes implemented after the 1967 reform of the Jesuit Faculty of Philosophy necessitated a relocation of the campus from the suburb of Pullach to a site closer to the university. The client had access to a plot of land near the university, situated on a street primarily lined with large, closely spaced detached buildings. The new building was positioned at approximately a right angle to this street, ensuring its proportions were pleasing to the surroundings.
