Office Building of an Insurance Company in Hanover
The building's base is the wedge-shaped ground floor, which projects approximately 1.0 m above sidewalk level, upon which the freestanding columns on the ground floor rest. The planting beds and their retaining walls are staggered from this base. On the upper floors, walkways run along the facade. These serve as escape routes and for facade cleaning. The escape balconies and roof terraces are connected by external staircases from the 1st to the 7th floor.
