The truss structure was designed to be constructed by smaller carpentry firms. In the workshop, numerous identical timber bars were prefabricated, and two diagonal members were pre-connected. On the construction site, large sections (approximately 12 x 12 m) of the spatial framework, with a 4 cm camber, were pre-assembled on the building's concrete foundation slab. First, the diagonal members were fastened between the pre-drilled lower gusset plates using anchor nails. Then, both the top and bottom chords were bolted to the nodes with welded-on Geka dowels. The individual structural units, each the size of a lecture hall, were then lifted by a mobile crane until the columns were installed and braced.
