The apartments were designed to offer a largely consistent living environment, in the conventional sense. Each apartment was intended to have consistently good lighting and sunlight over a certain period. Thus, around three stairwell cores, each with two elevators (Schindler), apartment groups were created, their continuous connection of individual building sections creating the impression of "one building." All apartments feature large loggias. The staggered arrangement of the building sections also ensured excellent lighting while preventing views between apartments and mitigating traffic noise.
