Residential Complex in Karlsfeld near Munich
On a roughly 2,000 square metre corner plot on the outskirts of Munich, the five residential buildings, together with a studio building and garages, form a U-shape open to the south. Access is direct: the west and north sides of the complex are bordered by roads. The garages are integrated into the western houses, while the studio and the eastern houses each have their own separate row of garages. The varied and vibrant appearance of the building complex results from the differentiated layout and arrangement of the residential units. By staggering the houses in the floor plan, intimate, secluded outdoor spaces are created on both the entrance and garden sides.
