Project of a Honeycomb Element House Construction System
The terraced housing system project presented here aims to offer the living qualities of a detached house despite its high-density construction. A comparison to stacked terraced houses is apt. Each resident can identify with "their house" and has ample private space. Access can be provided from the outside via stairs and pathways, thus preserving the character of a detached house (stairwells are also possible, of course). Due to the small footprint and highly industrialized construction methods, the construction costs are unusually low.
