The columns of the load-bearing structure rest on individual concrete foundations or directly on the bedrock, so the existing, highly rocky terrain did not need to be altered. The columns and the lower and upper beams were assembled on-site into frame units using bolted connections. The prefabricated units for the exterior and interior walls, ceiling, and roof are timber frame elements with surfaces made of weather-resistant plywood and mineral wool insulation. An asbestos cement panel is also integrated into the wall elements for sound insulation.
