Training Workshop of the German Federal Post Office in Munich
The construction program for the approximately 120,000 m³ building complex includes a training workshop for 300 students with around 100 instructors, a building for a construction crew (for the installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment), and an approximately 11,000 m² cable storage facility. The training workshop and construction crew are linked so that, towards the end of their apprenticeships, the trainees gain practical experience working with the construction crew and are also expected to assist the crew in emergencies. The cable storage facility serves the eastern region of Munich.
