Residential Complex "Würmufer" in Gauting near Munich
The aim here was to refute the supposed inevitability of large-scale housing construction towards monotony and a lack of scale, while simultaneously demanding consideration of rent levels and capital returns. The selection of a plot of land ideally suited for apartments, with a waterfront location, provided the best possible foundation for this. The decision to use the time-tested brick construction method was also advantageous, as the standardized brick blocks allow for considerable freedom in floor plan design and guarantee a pleasant living environment.
