Road Traffic - Bus Station Roof
The structure is a steel frame with a gravel-bedded roof and a soffit made of wooden elements. Plexiglas covers are installed above each individual support column and the 50 cm wide strip between the individual roof sections. Roof drainage is provided by three roof drains per section, leading into heated downpipes within the steel columns. The roof structure rests directly on the subway station's ceiling. To ensure tensile and shear-resistant anchoring of the roof's support structure, the subway station's reinforced concrete ceiling was fitted with plate anchors for a 60 cm thick foundation slab cast directly onto it.
