Hahnenkamp Residential Tower in Bremen
In the new suburb of "Am Hahnenkamp" near Bremen, an apartment building was constructed, its 18 storeys accentuating the development. The curtain wall facade was executed with large-format panels of 12 mm thick white asbestos cement (Fulgurit). With the exception of the balcony railings and the parapet, both made of exposed aggregate concrete, the entire building is clad in this material. To match the floor height of 215 mm, the panel length was set at 2500 mm. Between these panels are 230 mm wide bands. With two 10 mm joints, this results in a total floor height of 2750 mm. The width of the panels varies between 1250 and 1385 mm, depending on the requirements.
