Primary School in Berlin-Kreuzberg
The ground floor serves as the horizontal distribution point for the various areas of the school. Vertically, the school is divided into a central block containing the entrance hall, multipurpose rooms, and the student library on the ground floor; the teachers' and administrative offices on the remaining first floor; and classrooms for the older students on the two upper floors. Two three-storey "classroom star" wings connect to the north and south of the four-storey central block, via the two main staircases and their respective restroom facilities. The gymnasium, which also has a direct entrance for extracurricular use or for the vocational school, forms the southern boundary of the complex.
