Kreissparkasse in Grevenbroich

Building Structure: This building is not a typical savings bank building, but rather the main branch of a large branch network, with a focus on administrative, assembly, and meeting rooms. For the site—located between the current city centre and a greenbelt along a river—a building complex was designed with a highly differentiated low-rise structure and a tower-like upper section. This building form, through its transparency, maintains a visual connection between the existing buildings and the greenbelt and allows for a clear functional separation, legible from the outside in three cubic forms: the two-storey wing housing the banking hall for customer service, the two-storey wing containing the multi-purpose room for public relations, and the five-storey tower for internal administration.
