Prefabricated Wooden Houses in Herrenalb
The overall plan comprises eight houses on a slope with a 20° incline. A shared courtyard lies between the houses, with a basement containing the building services. The two houses completed initially (including the basements) have a volume of 1601 cubic metres and a living area of 383 square metres. This building system has since been applied to the planning of larger, high-density housing complexes.
