State Administrative Campus in Olympia/Washington
In urban planning harmony with the Capitol, a campus-like centre for state administrations is being built, consisting of four three- and four-storey buildings surrounding a pedestrian plaza. Offices, service areas, and parking are located on several floors beneath the plaza. All floors and buildings are connected by escalators. A total of 300,000 square metres of office space is planned. The main road construction office building, shown here, was the first to be completed.
