Thermal Baths in Herrenalb/Baden
The swimming centre is located in the Herrenalb "Swiss Meadows," surrounded by extensive parkland. The design for this facility won third prize in a competition. Construction began in the spring of 1969 and was completed in the spring of 1971. The indoor pool complex comprises three pools: a small pool of 100 square metres, a large pool of 200 square metres connected by a swim-through to an outdoor pool of over 200 square metres. The entire swimming centre—with the exception of a small relaxation room between the indoor pools—is on a single level.
