The control booth is not conceived as a self-contained "enclosed structure" that exists independently at the boundary between the stands and the tent roof, but rather as a transparent, seemingly light machine that controls the complex flow of competitions in the stadium and feeds the data into the communication channels of radio, television, and the press. The floor plan follows the tiers of the stands, but not as a circular arc; instead, it is a polygonal shape. The points where the lines fold lie above the main trusses; these also serve as the support points for the structure.
